CROPS & HOBBIES

All-Crop 66
Equipment

My love is Allis-Chalmers tractors and equipment. I try and focus my attention to items built in the 1950's. Granted I do have one or two items that are a bit newer such as a no-till planter, for conveyance and efficiency.

I have a WD, WD-45, many snap coupler implements. Even my combine is a pull type, All-Crop 66 (pictured). They are great machines to work with and are very hard working. Very basic so working on them is easier but very well engineered.

All-Crop after Harvest
Crops

On our farm we raise small grain crops. Mainly Wheat, Soybeans, and Milo. Usually 24 to 27 acres of one of these crops is planted each year. This field provides income for the farm.

Also, there is a test field of 7 acres that is used to try different crops and rotations to see what is working best for our soil type and climate.

We have additional fields but are secondary to the first two fields.
